A #throwback to my report on the 2014 Mumbai Queer Pride Parade which was the first parade to happen after India’s supreme court had reinstated section 377 (it has since been struck down again).
We had wanted to understand how the community was approaching and navigating the impact of such a backward decision. The message was clear, “there is no going back.”
